Quarterly Insurance Journal is in publication since 1984 from Karachi and since 2008 from Islamabad.
As an initial objective, it provided a forum and platform to insurance writers and professionals and encouraged young insurance executives to read and write about insurance. During these over 30 years of publication, the readers have benefited from the scholarly and informative articles written by insurance professionals. The exclusive page of ‘Student Corner’ welcomes articles written by young and upcoming professionals. To further engage them in their professional development, Insurance Journal Gold Medal was introduced in 1993.
IJ Exclusive is one the most important segments of Insurance Journal. In this segment, the interviews of renowned personalities from insurance industry and different business sectors are published which are most informative and popular among our readers.
Financial Highlights’ segment of this journal keep up to date the readers about the financial figures of all insurance companies i.e. Non-Life, Life and Takaful companies on Quarterly, Half-yearly and Yearly basis. Also, the Insurance Sector on Karachi Stock Exchange’s segment shows the stock prices and buy/sell volumes on quarterly basis of all insurance companies of Pakistan.
News about Insurance Sector of Pakistan as well as of the world is also published in the journal. Another segment which is more popular among the readers of the journal is Legal Section in which the proceedings and decisions of legal cases between consumers, insurance companies and other institutions are published for references.
